Tired of feeling busy, drained, and never fully recharged?

Modern life keeps us constantly “on” — rushing, thinking, doing, giving — yet still feeling tired, disconnected, and in need of something deeper than a holiday.

We invite you to step away from the noise and join us in Kerala, India — the home of ancient Ayurveda, Yoga, nature, and healing.

This retreat has been created for those who are ready to slow down properly, reset the nervous system, restore energy, and reconnect with themselves again.

Through ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, daily Yoga, nourishing food, rest, and time in nature, you’ll be gently guided back to balance — leaving not just relaxed, but renewed, clearer, and equipped with tools to support everyday life.

Step out of the noise. Come back to yourself.

See you in Kerala.

The Swasthaveda Kerala Experience

This is not a fixed programme where everyone receives the same treatments, the same advice, and then returns home wondering what to do next.

The Swasthaveda Kerala Retreat is a personalised Ayurvedic wellness journey – designed around your body, your lifestyle, and your health goals.

Personalised Ayurveda, not a standard schedule

Your Ayurvedic treatments are tailored to your individual needs.

You will be assessed Ayurvedically, and based on your constitution, imbalances, health concerns, and goals, we will recommend the treatments we believe will benefit you most.

No two people are treated exactly the same – because no two people arrive with the same story.

A complete health approach

This retreat combines authentic Ayurvedic treatment in Kerala with practical guidance you can continue at home.

You will receive support around:

  • Ayurvedic treatments suited to your needs
  • Herbal recommendations for your specific health concerns
  • Dietary guidance that fits your lifestyle
  • Daily routine and lifestyle changes you can realistically follow in the UK

The aim is not just to feel better for a few days in Kerala – it is to help you create lasting change.

Guided before, during, and after the retreat

You are supported throughout the whole journey by Rajiv and Dr Jaikishan.

From your initial appointment, through the lead-up to the retreat, during your time in Kerala, and for 3 months after you return, you will be guided with care, structure, and accountability.

You are not left to figure it out alone.

You leave with a plan

Most retreats end when you fly home.

This one continues.

You will return with a clearer understanding of your health, your imbalances, and the steps you need to take next — with ongoing support to help you stay on track.

A Day at the Swasthaveda Kerala Retreat

Each day is gently structured to help your body slow down, your mind settle, and your energy begin to restore.

There is rhythm, but no pressure.
Guidance, but no overwhelm.
Everything is optional — your body leads the pace.

Your day may look like this:
Some days will be deeply restful. Some days will be more active.
Every day is designed to bring you back into balance.

The Venue

A unique atmosphere of peace and tranquillity’

Set in Palakkad, Kerala, Kairali – The Ayurvedic Healing Village offers the perfect setting to pause, reset, and reconnect.

Spread across 60 acres at the foot of the Nilgiri and Annamalai ranges, Kairali is surrounded by mountains, forests, fertile valleys, coconut trees, and the natural beauty Kerala is known for.

This is a place where switching off feels effortless.

From the sound of birds in the morning to the stillness of the evenings, the whole environment is designed to support peace, healing, and deep rest. You can walk through nature, breathe fresh air, relax between treatments, and allow your body and mind to settle into a slower rhythm.

Kairali offers the feeling of traditional Kerala with the comfort of a dedicated wellness retreat – making it an ideal home for a week of rest, renewal, and Ayurvedic healing.

Accommodation

Your comfort matters – because deep healing is much easier when you feel safe, settled, and well looked after.

During the retreat, you’ll stay in peaceful villas nestled within the healing village, surrounded by greenery and calm. Each villa is designed to give you space to rest, reflect, and recharge after your treatments, yoga sessions, and retreat activities.

The accommodation offers the comfort you need while keeping you close to nature.

Each villa includes:

  • Air-conditioning
  • En-suite shower facilities
  • Television
  • Telephone
  • Bottled water
  • Clean, comfortable furnishings
  • Peaceful natural surroundings
  • Access to the wider retreat grounds and nature spaces

Here, you can wake up to birdsong, rest between treatments, enjoy quiet evenings, and sleep in a calm environment that supports your whole retreat experience.

This is not just where you stay.
It is part of the healing.

Activities

Your days will be gently structured, but never forced. Nothing is compulsory. You can take part in everything, or step back whenever your body needs rest.

Ayurvedic Workshops – Learn how Ayurveda applies to your daily life, not just in theory – You’ll leave with tools you can actually use.

Daily Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation – Each day includes morning and evening yoga classes. Morning sessions will help you feel energised and ready for the day, while evening sessions will help you slow down, release tension, and settle into deep rest.

Ayurvedic Cooking Classes – You’ll learn how to prepare Ayurvedic meals with a Kerala influence and take home recipes you can realistically recreate after the retreat.

Excursions & Cultural Experiences – Enjoy and experience beautiful Kerala while you are here.

Group Discussions & Shared Reflection – We’ll create space for meaningful conversations around health, life, Ayurveda, spirituality, habits, healing, and personal transformation.

Reflection Time – You’ll also have plenty of time to rest, journal, walk, read, sit quietly, enjoy the facilities, or simply do nothing.

We also have a few special experiences planned for you during the retreat — centred around healing, health, connection, and personal growth.

(A detailed timetable will be given nearer the time to the attendees)

Overall, we want you to take it easy, rest and enjoy this week.

Food

Delicious Ayurvedic food that nourishes, satisfies, and supports healing

In Ayurveda, food is not just something we eat — it is one of the foundations of health.

During the retreat, you will enjoy three freshly prepared vegetarian meals every day, created to nourish your body, support digestion, and give you steady energy throughout the day.

This is not about restriction, starving, or bland “health food.” It is about eating the right food, at the right time, in the right way — and actually enjoying it.

Meals are made daily on the premises using fresh, organic, locally grown and locally sourced ingredients, with the flavours and warmth of Kerala woven throughout.

You’ll be eating well, feeling satisfied, and experiencing how food can be both delicious and deeply supportive for your health.

We can cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and specific food needs — please let us know in advance so we can support you properly.

The retreat is fully vegetarian. Non-vegetarian food and alcohol are not available or permitted on the premises.

Treatments

Experience traditional Kerala Ayurveda

Your retreat includes daily Ayurvedic treatments, chosen to support your individual needs and help your body begin to reset.

These traditional therapies are designed to ease tension, support deep relaxation, calm the nervous system, and leave you feeling lighter, clearer, and more restored.

Treatments are carried out by qualified, experienced therapists and guided by your Ayurvedic assessment, so your programme feels personal rather than generic.

This is your time to receive, release, and allow the healing process to begin.
